Teacher Grants

The Teacher Mini Grants are way for teachers to enrich classroom learning for all kids. The grants allow teachers to purchase material, tools, and other items beyond what the school provides.

2026 Grant Winners:

Mrs. Giesie (K) will use her grant to purchase a desk chair, standing rolling desk, privacy folders & Farmer's Market stand w/cash register. These items will help focused on student engagement, differentiated instruction, social/emotional learning and effective learning environments.

Mr. Ray (2nd) will use his grant to purchase materials for the Fact Masters capes and hats. These capes and hats aligns with 2nd grade math curriculum & encourages students to apply skills in a meaningful mathematical way.

Mrs. Flannery (3rd) will use her grant to purchase supplement science instruction to enhance student engagement & deepen understanding of key science concepts through hands on and interactive learning opportunities.

Mrs. Meister will use her grant to purchase Hand to Mind - Word Work Small Group sets for K and 1st grades which will allow teachers to target small groups or individual students to meet the needs for skill based instruction.

Ms. Kudis (3rd) will use her grant to purchase BouncyBands for each student desk. These quiet, non-disruptive tools are used to release excess energy, tension & anxiety. They also help academic achievement by helping children stay focused, increase their concentration & time on task. They are a tier one behavioral strategy that promotes equity & inclusion.

Mr. Byrne (Math 5th-6th grades) will use his grant to purchase Versa Tiles sets to enhance fluidity from 5/6 grade to 7/8 grade math.
